Issue/Introduction

Question:

When loading a CA Datacom DBUTLTY backup, can I use the SORTDFLT=YES option for a database-level LOAD in addition to an area-level LOAD?

Answer:

Yes, SORTDFLT=YES works fine at both the area- and database-level LOAD. Note that you can only benefit from this option if you also specify a SORT= value greater than zero.

As always, please contact CA Technologies support for CA Datacom if you have further questions.
