Issue/Introduction

Probereport.exe is throwing an error message " ProbeReport.exe - Entry Point Not Found""

The procedure entry point ?FGetRegistryValue@@YAHPBD0AAVCString@@H@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library E:\UIMPHub\IM\bin\ProbeReport.exe.

Resolution

Follow these specific steps:-

  1. Close all active Infrastructure Manager windows.
  2. Uninstall Infrastructure Manager from the Windows Control Panel.
  3. Delete any remaining files in the %TEMP%\util folder (usually C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\Temp\util).
  4. Temporarily disable any antivirus/firewall software that might block DLL access during installation.
  5. Download the latest installer from your Primary Hub's web page (http://<Primary_Hub_IP>/uimhome).
  6. Right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator."
