Issue/Introduction

• Deployment of Real-time metrics fails on green field VCF 9.1 production fleet management instance.
• Attempting deployment via API using componentType: 'OPS_DATA_PLATFORM' results in error: "Cannot resolve component repository for component type 'OPS_DATA_PLATFORM' and version '9.1.0.0'".
• Deployment via VCF Ops UI fails at subtasks: "Install components using SDDC lifecycle service" and "Start component installation using SDDC lifecycle service".

Cause

This failure typically indicates a transient issue in resolving the component repository for the OPS_DATA_PLATFORM component type or a mismatch in the component identifier expected by the lifecycle service.

Resolution

Redeploy the component through the User Interface (UI).

1. Navigate to the VCF Operations UI.
2. Retry the deployment of the Real-time metrics component.
3. Observe that subsequent attempts through the UI often succeed where initial API or UI attempts failed due to transient repository resolution issues.
