Issue/Introduction

This Article describes a scenario when an external sender is using the Sender Rewriting Scheme (SRS) or Bounce Address Tag Validation, Email Security.cloud client is not able to bypass the Anti-spam or Image control service due to the ENV From changes.

Environment

Email Security.cloud

Cause

The original ENV from address has been rewritten via SRS after the mail forward or due to Bounce Address Tag Validation, hence the final ENV from address after this process will look like this example : [email protected]

Resolution

Email Security.cloud clients are recommended to Track and Trace the rewritten address and add it to the Approved Senders list of the Impacted service In order to bypass it.
