Issue/Introduction

Introduction:

I’ve upgraded Datacom from 14.0 to 15.0; on 15.0 MUF joblog I can see the following messages:

12.19.47 JOB00334  MUF15:000:MUF15:DB00288I - MODULE INFO DBINRPR 2015/11/23-1446 15.0  RO86717

12.19.58 JOB00334  MUF15:000:MUF15:DB00288I - MODULE INFO DBINRPR 2015/11/04-1106 14.0  RO86173

Question:

Why do I get this message twice? Why does one of the messages show 14.0 even if the MUF region has been upgraded to 15.0?

Environment:

Datacom/DB or Datacom/AD 15.0 and above

Answer:

The description of this message is the following:

DB00288I
MODULE INFO DBINRPR a b c
Reason:
This message provides the module information about a connecting DBINRPR interface module.
? ‘a’ provides the module assembly date
? ‘b’ provides the module Version
? ‘c’ provides optional solution information
Action:
None, This message is for information only.

So the 14.0 release in the message text is related to a job/STC that is connecting to this 15.0 MUF region, not to the MUF itself. This occurs because the job/STC is still using a 14.0 DBINRPR.

Additional Information:

The job/STC for which DB00288I is issued can be identified through the DB00133I messages in MUF joblog. If there are no DB00133I messages, they can be temporarily displayed using the MUF SYSIN card or console command:

MESSAGE YES,DB00133
