Is CA Datacom Server 15.0 HYPER PTF RO81768 available for solution download? CA CSM is not listing it.

Question:

Is CA Datacom Server 15.0 HYPER PTF RO81768 available for solution download?

We received CA - HYPER NOTIFICATION email for PTF RO81768 which corrects PTF RO79335. However, I am not able to find PTF RO81768 listed when using CA CSM to apply maintenance to my CA Datacom Server Version 15.0 CSI.

CA Datacom Server Version 15.0 

Answer:

PTF RO81768 is a mainframe, z/OS solution and is available for download.

PTF RO81768 is for the optional CA Datacom Server Version 15.0 USS Component FMID CAYTF02.

 

If the optional FMID CAYTF02 is not installed into this CSI, CA CSM will not present the PTF in the list of available maintenance.

 

PTF RO79335 has updates for both the base Datacom Server FMID CAYTF00 and also for the USS component FMID CAYTF02.

So, PTF RO81768 is only needed if PTF RO79335 is applied AND optional FMID CAYTF02 has been installed.
