Missing Memory QoS Metrics in cdm probe

Issue/Introduction

This article addresses missing Memory QoS metrics in the cdm probe when deployed via superpackage in DX Unified Infrastructure Management. This issue occurs due to a QoS target mismatch in the cdm probe configuration.

Cause

 Memory metrics were discarded by the spooler due to a qos_target mismatch in plugin_metric.cfg
 The probe was deployed via a superpackage with "Set QoS target as 'Memory'" enabled, while plugin_metric.cfg expected the hostname.

Resolution

To restore Memory QoS metrics, perform the following steps:

1. In the UIM Infrastructure Manager, navigate to the affected robot.
2. Delete the cdm probe.
3. Redeploy the cdm probe via MCS (Monitoring Configuration Service).
4. Ensure the default configuration (QoS target option disabled) is applied.

Result: The default configuration resolves the mismatch, and metrics should flow normally. If you continue to see issues, verify the spooler logs to confirm the metrics are no longer being filtered.
