Cause

The standard PAMSC installer does not contain the specific kernel modules (.ko files) required for kernel 6.18.35-68.127 due to the rapid update cycle of Amazon Linux 2023 images.

Resolution

Support for kernel version 6.18.35-68.127 is available via manual module installation.

Open a support case to request the following modules generated under defect DE685914:

• SEOS_syscall.20230-autogen-61835-68127-AMZNX86_64.MP.ko
• CoExTrace.20230-autogen-61835-68127-AMZNX86_64.ko

Copy the downloaded files to the bin directory of your PAMSC installation (default: /opt/CA/PAMSC/bin).
Restart the PAMSC services to load the new modules.
Verify the status by running ./seosd -status from the bin directory.
