Resolution

The PX.RULES values (such as PX.RULE.wiam-imb;76;87) are stored in the well-known attribute %IDENTITY_POLICY%, as defined in your directory.xml:

<ImsManagedObjectAttr physicalname="street" description="Used by identity policy synch" displayname="Identity Policy" valuetype="String" multivalued="true" wellknown="%IDENTITY_POLICY%" maxlength="0" hidden="true" system="true">

The PX-RULE values have the following primary uses:

  • For tracking both Xpress Policies and Identity Policies, and
  • Whether they have been applied to the user and
  • Whether they need to be run only once, according to the policies' configurations.
