In CA Test Data Manager (TDM) Web Portal, connection profile permissions may not be applied consistently during Data Generator publishing or when executing Self-Service Flow jobs. Users might be able to read, insert, or execute operations against a connection profile even if the user group is not properly associated with that profile.
This issue is caused by a known product defect (DE683733) in the TDM validation logic, which fails to correctly verify user group permissions against the targeted connection profile before allowing operations to proceed.
Broadcom Engineering has released a fix for this defect. Please apply the following patch to your TDM environment:
