Issue/Introduction

How to display suppressed alarms in Spectrum

Cause

The model turns grey (suppressed) but there is no alarm.

Resolution

Suppressed alarms may be displayed by doing the following:

1. Select the VNM model.
2. Navigate to Information tab > Alarm Management sub view.
3. Set Disable Suppressed Alarms to yes or no.

Note: By default Spectrum will filter "suppressed alarms" from the alarm filter

Please note that enabling suppressed alarms may cause SpectroSERVER performance problems as there could be thousands of suppressed alarms at a time during an outage.
