Issue/Introduction

This article addresses the error "1 property has an invalid value" encountered during the deployment of the Aria Operations for Networks (formerly vRealize Network Insight) OVA templates in vCenter.

Cause

This error typically occurs when the Aria Operations for Networks Collector node is deployed before the Platform node. The architecture requires the Platform node to be fully initialized to generate the necessary Shared Secret key required for the Collector node registration.

Resolution

Resolution: To resolve this issue, follow the deployment sequence:

1. Deploy the Aria Operations for Networks Platform OVA.
2. Complete the initial configuration of the Platform node.
3. Log into the initialized Platform node and generate the Collector shared secret key.
4. Deploy the Collector OVA.
5. Provide the generated secret key during the Collector setup to pair it successfully with the Platform node.

Note: Always ensure the Platform node is active and accessible before attempting to pair the Collector node.
