Fail to add reserved vm class to Supervisor zone with insufficient resources

Issue/Introduction

• Add vm class of Nvidia vGPU to reserved vm class of Supervisor zone but fail with error message in the Task list:
  
  Task Name: com.vcenter.zones.capacity.reservations.set.label
Status: Insufficient resources. The resources of the vSphere Zone are insufficient for the operation
  
  
• The zone bindings list status reports an error message similar to the following for the affected Supervisor intended to run PAIF workloads:
  
  error reconciling zonal capacity; the failed operation will be retried: failed to wait for VAPI task task-<id>:<task-uuid> to complete: task-<id>:<task-uuid>
  
  
• Some vm classes of Nvidia vGPU can be added to the reserved vm class of Supervisor zone successfully.
• The Region Quota of VCFA is sufficient. 

Environment

VMware Private AI Foundation

Cause

SR-IOV is not enabled in BIOS of ESXi host.

Resolution

To fix the issue,

1. Enable the SR-IOV in ESXi host BIOS which depends on the hardware vendor.
2. How to enable SR-IOV in BIOS, see Error: SR-IOV status shows as Not Supported on ESXi host. Contact hardware vendor if needed.
