Issue/Introduction

Security scans may flag the Docker version bundled with VMware Live Recovery (VLR) 9.0.5.0 (build 25342901) as End of Life (EOL).

Environment

VMware Live Recovery  9.0.5.0 (build 25342901)

Resolution

Engineering has confirmed that the Docker version will be updated to 29.5.3 as part of the release of VLR version 9.1.1.

Important Note: Docker on VLR version 9.0.5 cannot be patched or upgraded separately. To receive the updated Docker version, you must upgrade the entire VMware Live Recovery appliance to version 9.1.1 or higher when it becomes available.
