Issue/Introduction

Execution of the Database Management for Db2 for z/OS Post Install Create job (ssid0001) results is this error:
BPA0008E: SYNCPOINT xx WAS NOT FOUND.

This may occur when restarting the job.  It means the Batch Processor syncpoint the job is trying to start at is not found in the member
being executed (ssidDDLU or ssidDDL). The BP Log record can be found by going into RC/Migrator, then Option 3 Execution Display.
Put the BPID in from the Create job to see the row.  The STATUS column is how the Batch Processor job completed.

Resolution

The normally sequence is to run the Post Install Compare (ssid0000) followed by the Create (ssid0001).
If the COMPARE is run again AFTER the CREATE job has partially completed,  contact technical support to determine the best way to complete the processing.

Warning:
Running the Compare a 2nd time overwrites the ssidDDLU and ssidDDL members in hilvl.CDBASAMP.
