Restore Aria Operations for Logs from backup

Issue/Introduction

When one or more nodes from an Aria Operations for Logs become unavailable due to corruption (filesystem, Cassandra database, ...), instead of working on fixing the corruption, you can restore the cluster from backup.

Note:

• The supported method is to back up and restore all the nodes of a cluster at the same time. Inconsistencies might cause issues for the cluster to come back up and running.
• A workaround is the procedure to Replace a node in an Aria Operations for Logs cluster.

Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x
TCP 5.0

Cause

Corruption can happen for example when the filesystem or the underlying datastore ran out of space.
