Event "The vSphere Distributed Switch ### configuration on the host differed from that of the vCenter Server" is triggered.

If you enabled verbose log for vpxd, the log shows which ESX is the cause of dvs out of sync.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi

VMware vCenter Server

Cause

One or more ESX belong to the VDS is disconnected from vCenter Server.

Resolution

Investigate the cause of disconnection between vCenter Server and ESX.

If the ESX doesn't use VDS, remove the ESX from VDS.
