Issue/Introduction

Problem:  

Running a HiDRO JOB to dump multiple minidisks. It is only mounting one tape at a time.

VMTAPE has 12 drives available and HiDRO has MAXTAPES of 10.

Environment:

CA HiDRO. Any release

Cause:

This is actually a memory problem.

Resolution/Workaround:  

The problem is usually in your defaults. You probably have OPCORE MAX. That tells HiDRO to allocate ALL available memory to each task, which means only one task can run at a time. We recommend 4M for your OPCORE setting.
