Issue/Introduction

Question:

Is there any impact when changing SUBACID from (U,7) to (U,8)?

Answer:

For acids that are 7 characters or less, this won't change anything. The only potential impact would be if there are any ACIDs that are 8 characters that are currently successfully running batch jobs under an ACID that is the first 7 characters (because SUBACID is currently U,7). Once SUBACID is changed to U,8, these jobs will use the entire 8 character acid.
