Issue/Introduction

Broadcom is consolidating the automic.com websites — specifically the Automic Download, Documentation, and Automation Marketplace sites — onto Broadcom's primary support platforms. This transition provides customers a single, unified location for accessing product resources instead of separate Automic-branded sites.

As part of this migration:

  • downloads.automic.com (product and component downloads) is moving to the Broadcom Support Portal.
  • marketplace.automic.com (action packs, integrations, and plugin extensions) is moving to the Broadcom Support Portal.
  • Docker images previously hosted on gcr.io are now hosted at packages.broadcom.com.

This knowledge article describes on how the new product downloads would look like (Downloads > Product Downloads)

Resolution

Product Downloads  (Downloads > Product Downloads)

  • Log in to the Broadcom Support Portal using your Broadcom Support ID (existing Broadcom credentials).
  • If you are already logged in, you may be taken to a screen that does not have a menu on the left-hand side.  In this case, click on the dropdown menu that is directly left of your name (in the upper right side of the screen) & choose Enterprise Software.
  • Navigate to My Downloads on the left side --> In the “Search Product Name” textbox, type in Automic Automation and click on the “Show Results” button

  • You may see a long list of items show up in the results or only one.  To filter to specific products if needed, in the “Search by Release” textbox type in “Automic Automation”  The list will automatically update with the “SKU” you are entitled to

  • Click on the resulting release and there will be supported versions of the product that show up below

  • Choose the version you would like to download to proceed further to the next screen which would allow you to download the entire product zip as shown below  (similar to the automic.com downloads portal)

Note:  There are a number of files that will show up in the resulting list.  Below is what each type will be - each type will have a format like ReleaseName_version_date*.

Example, anything starting with Automic.Automation_26.0.0_2026-08-04 will be for release Automic Automation, version 26.0.0, and was released on date 2026-08-04:

  • ReleaseName_version_date.zip - this is the actual image for the Release and product number and is in a .zip format.
  • ReleaseName_version_date_Bug-Fixes.pdf - this is the Bug Fixes that were released with this specific release and will be a pdf file.
  • ReleaseName_version_date_Known-issues.pdf - this is a list of Known issues for a specific release version that were known at the time of and will be a pdf file.
  • ReleaseName_version_date_Manifest.pdf - this is a list of components included in the image file and their exact major, minor, service pack, and hotfix and will be a pdf file.
  • ReleaseName_version_date_New-Features.pdf - this is a list of new features where applicable for the version and will be in a pdf file.
  • ReleaseName_version_date_Update-Information.pdf - this is a list of components included in the image and what changes may have been made to their version.
    • For example, in a service pack update, there may be an update to some components, but not others.  This file will show which were updated from the previous release version and will be in a pdf file.
  • You can download individual files or use the check-box the download multiple files at a given time click on the HTTPS Downloads (left icon) or Secure FTPS Download (right icon) icon next to them

Availability of Versions

The Broadcom Support Portal makes available the latest Service Pack for each currently supported major release — 26.0.0 and 24.4.5.

Customers are strongly encouraged to remain current on these latest releases. Staying up to date ensures access to the most recent security fixes, defect resolutions, and product improvements.

Requests for an older or more specific version must be directed to Broadcom Support.
