Impact of dropping or creating indexes in the das database

Issue/Introduction

• Is it safe to drop "unused" or otherwise large Indexes from the das database?
• Is it safe to create "missing" Indexes in the das database?

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft SQL Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

Creating and dropping Indexes from the das database is not recommended, nor supported, unless directed to do so by Broadcom Engineering. Doing so could negatively impact application performance and stability.
