Issue/Introduction

CICS Transaction Server 6.3 requires specific toleration support when running in environments utilizing MICS Resource Management.
Ensure MICS release 14.4 levelset is installed to apply the necessary PTFs and pre-requisites for full compatibility.

• Requirement: MICS release 14.4 or higher
• Component: CICS Transaction Server (CTS) 6.3

Resolution

To enable toleration support for IBM CICS Transaction Server (CTS) 6.3, apply the following PTF:

• CIC6885 - Toleration Support for IBM CICS Transaction Server (CTS) 6.3

The following pre-requisite PTFs must also be installed:

• CIC6879 - Toleration Support for IBM CICS Transaction Server (CTS) 6.2
• CIC6871 - Retrofit Code For Backleveled HOLD.PARMS Members
• BAS7878 - Retrofit Code For Backleveled HOLD.PARMS Members
