Unable to list / view subscribed VApp template content on the Organization VCD portal catalogs.

Issue/Introduction

• Having subscribed and synced content from a Catalog Source Organization, the vApp templates are no longer listed under Tenant Portal >  Content Hub > Catalogs > Specific catalog (synced from published catalog source) > vApp Templates, fails to list vApp templates.
• However they are present on the catalog source and the sync of content was successful. 
• The entity is still listed Application Images, but the entity does not show the associated vApp Templates. 
• Viewing the vApp template from Organization Portal >  Content Hub > Content > The specific vApp Template (Or by searching from the global search bar available on the top of the VCD portal) > Would display the following alert "The lease of the vApp template that contains this VM has expired. To see the details for the VM, renew the lease of the vApp template."

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

This issue occurs when the lease associated to the vApp template expires, making the vApp template no longer consumable for deployments. 

Resolution

To re-enable the consumption of the vApp template, renew the vApp Template lease.

• Navigation: VCD Organization Portal >  Content Hub > Content > The specific vApp Template ( Alternatively can be searched by using the global search bar available on the top of the VCD portal) > General
• Click the Renew Lease Action / hyperlink on the Warning message. 
• Validate that the VApp template is now available under the catalog's vApp template view. 

Note: Alternatively the associated Application Image can still be used for deploying new VMs.
