Issue/Introduction

• VCF instance status is Not Eligible
• vCenter adapter Collection Status set to No data receiving
• VALIDATE CONNECTION for vCenter adapter instance fails with error: "Could not send task 'Test connection' with id '###' to collector with id '#'. Collector is currently down or is not ready, start the collector or re-try later."

Cause

The Identity Broker service reported an unhealthy state and directory synchronization failed due to an unresponsive Cloud Proxy collector instance, which prevented the vCenter adapter instance from collecting required data and processing directory sync operations.

Resolution

• Restart the associated Cloud Proxy collector VM
