Issue/Introduction

Users may encounter a generic "Error submitting configuration" message when attempting to configure the Cloud Detection Service (CDS) for Endpoint within the management console.

Cause

This error typically occurs when the CDS for Endpoint is not being deployed to an active CloudSOC environment, or there is a mismatch between the tenant environments.

Resolution

CDS for Endpoint must be deployed specifically to an active CloudSOC environment.

Attempting to deploy outside of this environment will result in configuration failure.
