Issue/Introduction

Upgrading to version 18.1 or 19, are User exits now required to be in an APF- Authorized library.

Environment

Version 18.1 or greater

Resolution

Yes, All Endevor user exits must reside in an APF-authorized load library. Endevor User exits must also be assembled or compiled and linked with the RENT (reentrant) attribute. Failure to do so may result in an S0C4 ABEND during execution.
