Issue/Introduction
- The recovery plan status remains stuck for few hours with the message "Cancel in progress."
- Restarting SRM services or vCenter appliances does not clear the hung task.
Environment
VMware Live Recovery (VLR) 9.0.x
Cause
The Recovery Plan (RP) typically fails to complete because one or more VMs within the protection group are experiencing active replication errors. Site Recovery Manager requires VMs to be in a healthy, actively replicating state to finalize the recovery workflow.
Resolution
Contact Broadcom support for assistance with utilizing the SRM database tool.
