When configuring the patching for ESX, the newly imported image does not appear to assign it.

Issue/Introduction

• Imported ESX image to LCM.
  
  
• Cannot manage the imported image to assign for upgrade. Upgrade ESXi with vSphere Lifecycle Manager Images for VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2.

Environment

SDDC 5.2.x

Cause

Imported image or SDDC database issue. 

Resolution

• Manually update the ESX hosts out of band.
  
  
• Synchronize inventory versions after out-of-band upgrade in a VMware Cloud Foundation Environment.

Additional Information

SDDC Manager displays incorrect ESXi host version after manual update.
