Why does OneClick correlate the alarms for Chassis Down (0x10f69), Device not responding to polls (0x10009) and Blade status unknown (0x10f71), but the alarms are not being correlated in AlarmNotifier and I get three alarms for every single outage?

By default, Alarm Correlation for AlarmNotifier is disabled.  In order to enable AlarmNotifier alarm correlation please change the setting in the .alarmrc file from

 

ENABLE_CORRELATION=false
To
ENABLE_CORRELATION=true

 

A restart of AlarmNotifier is required, and upon the next time a Chassis Down, Device not responding to polls and Blade status unknown alarm is received, you should only receive a single Chassis Down alarm from AlarmNotifier.
