Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions on how to exclude specific internal users or recipient groups from having incoming email links rewritten by the Click-time URL Protection service.

Environment

Email Security.cloud

Resolution

To exclude certain users from click-time processing while keeping the service enabled for the rest of the organization:

• Navigate to Dashboard > Services > Click-time URL Protection.
• Ensure the service is Enabled.
• To exclude specific users while protecting most: Keep Protect All Users selected.
• Locate the Exceptions list.
• Add the specific email addresses of the users you wish to exclude.
• Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Note: Current limit for the Exceptions list is 1,500 entries.
