vCenter を 7.x から 8.x にアップデートした後、以下の事象が発生します。

• スーパーバイザライセンスが期限切れになっている。
• 期限切れのスーパーバイザライセンスを削除するオプションがグレーアウト（選択不可）している。
• 新しいライセンスをスーパーバイザに割り当てることができない。

Environment

• vSphere with Tanzu 7.x
• vSphere with Tanzu 8.x

Resolution

「How to remove a License Manually from vCenter using ldapmodify」の手順に従って、期限切れのスーパーバイザライセンスを vCenter から手動で削除します。

その後、以下のコマンドを実行してライセンスサービスを再起動します。

service-control --stop vmware-cis-license
service-control --start vmware-cis-license

この問題は vCenter 8.0.0b で解決されており、スーパーバイザを無効にすると、スーパーバイザライセンスが自動的に削除されます。
