NFA 9.3.6+ Harvester Install Reaper Does Not Start

Issue/Introduction

After installing NFA 9.3.6+ Harvester you see error 1067 & 1053.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Environment

NFA 9.3.6
NFA 9.3.8

Cause

That the libmysql.dll on the NFA system have a different size.

Resolution

Replace the libmysql.dll in the Reaper folder with dll from D:\CA\NFA\MySql\lib

Steps to complete;

 

§  Stop nfa services

 

§  Rename libmysql.dll in folder D:\CA\NFA\Netflow\Reaper

 

§  Copy D:\CA\NFA\MySql\lib\libmysql.dll to D:\CA\NFA\Netflow\Reaper

 

§  Start nfa services

 

 

Additional Information

CA Support have made engineering aware of this problem. And will look to make sure it is fixed in an upcoming release.
