Issue/Introduction

The below error is seen in the iDash GUI while experiencing bad performance:

Error on refresh:java.lang.OutOfMemoryError:GC overhead limit exceeded

Environment

Release: iDash R11.3.6 on win2008R2

Component: AEIXP

Cause

Old SLA files under $IDASH_HOME\log\sla\final are not archived or deleted which causes iDash to consume memory and performance to degrade.

Resolution

Move the old historical SLA files from the $IDASH_HOME\log\sla\final into a different folder and performance will improve.
