The notification "Removal of SDDC integration with VMware Aria Suite lifecycle (VCF Aware Mode)" appears in Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager during every refresh

Issue/Introduction

• Every time Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager is refreshed, the following notification appears:

• The notification persist even after connectivity between SDDC Manager and the Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager appliance is restored.
• The /var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrslcm.log file shows recurring notification triggers given below:

Environment

VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.18.x

Cause

A temporary loss of connectivity between SDDC Manager and Aria Suite Lifecycle triggers a VCF Aware Mode alert.
Because these specific notifications lack an auto-clearing mechanism, alerts remain in the database until they are manually cleared.

Resolution

Manual dismissal of the notification is required. Follow one of the options below to archive the alert.

Option 1: Via the Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager User Interface

1. Click the Notification icon in the top navigation bar.
2. Select See all notifications.
3. Locate the notification: "Removal of SDDC integration with VMware Aria Suite lifecycle (VCF Aware Mode)".
4. Select the notification and click Clear Selected.

Option 2: Via API Call

1. Authenticate to the Aria Suite Lifecycle API.
   
2. Switch to definition to "2.private-internal-api"
    
3. Under "Notification Controller", execute the following GET request to archive the notification:
