How to Hide PortfolioItem Flow State field in Rally

Issue/Introduction

The "PortfolioItem Flow State" field is visible for all users on Portfolio Items. There is a request to hide or disable this field when it is not being used by the organization.

Symptoms:

• The PortfolioItem Flow State field appears in the field list and detail pages.
• Administrators are unable to find a toggle to hide this specific field in Workspace or Project settings.

Rally SAAS

Cause

The PortfolioItem Flow State is a built-in system field in Rally. It is designed to facilitate state mapping for the Portfolio Kanban and other board views. System-defined fields of this nature currently do not support visibility toggling.

Resolution

Currently, there is no way to disable or hide the PortfolioItem Flow State field in Rally. This is considered expected product behavior.
