Cause

The standard PAMSC installer does not contain the specific kernel modules (.ko files) required for kernel 6.1.176-221.360 due to the rapid update cycle of Amazon Linux 2023 images.

Resolution

Support for kernel version 6.1.176-221.360 is available via manual module installation.

1. Open a support case to request the following modules generated under defect DE683694:
   • SEOS_syscall.20230-autogen-61176-221360-AMZNX86_64.MP.ko
   • CoExTrace.20230-autogen-61176-221360-AMZNX86_64.ko
2. Copy the downloaded files to the bin directory of your PAMSC installation (default: /opt/CA/PAMSC/bin).
3. Restart the PAMSC services to load the new modules.
4. Verify the status by running ./seosd -status from the bin directory.
