How to disable Intelligent Alarm out-of-the-box rules - AppNeta

Issue/Introduction

In AppNeta SaaS users may find that they need to disable Out of Box (OOB) Intelligent Alarm rules in favour of their own custom rules.

Environment

Product: AppNeta SaaS
Version: 19.14.x
Feature: Intelligent Alarms (IA)

Resolution

 

1. Navigate to the Alarm > Alarm Rules
2. Select any of the default rules:
   • Extended loss (Default)
   • Multiple DNS errors (Default)
   • Multiple Web errors (Default)
   • Outage (Default)
3. Click the three dots and choose the disable option:
   
   

 

Additional Information

Note:
Default OOB rules can be disabled, but are unable to be deleted.
