Unable to see other projects while sharing a catalog in VCF Automation 9.x

Issue/Introduction

• When using the VCF Automation tenant portal, unable to see other projects while attempting to share a catalog item.
• As a result, the catalog template cannot be successfully shared across other projects.

Environment

VCF Automation 9.X

Cause

The blueprint template has not been properly versioned, and the prerequisite configuration steps for template sharing have not been fully completed.

Resolution

• • Log in to the VCF Automation Tenant Portal.
• • Navigate to Build and Deploy > Blueprint Design.
• • Open the specific blueprint that to share.
• • Click All Actions > Settings.
• • Select the Allow all projects in the organization to have access to the catalog item checkbox.
    
• • By Clicking "i" next to "Catalog Item Sharing" gives information of templte Sharing process as well:
   
• • Click Save, and then click Close.
• • Reopen the same blueprint.
• • Navigate to Version and increment the version number.
• • Select the Publish this version to Catalog checkbox, and then click Close.
• • Navigate to the Catalog section and verify that the versioned template is now visible.
• • Select the catalog item and click Actions > Add/Remove from Projects.
• • Verify that the other projects are now visible and proceed to share the template with the desired projects.
