Customers using AutoSys 12.1.01 may require an updated version of Apache Tomcat (specifically version 9.0.120) for the AutoSys Web Server to address security vulnerability compliance or general maintenance requirements.

Cause

Security or maintenance updates require upgrading the embedded Apache Tomcat version shipped with AutoSys Workload Automation 12.1.01 to a newer patch release (9.0.120).

Resolution

Broadcom provides solution patch 99112810, which upgrades the AutoSys Web Server to Apache Tomcat 9.0.120.

Steps to Upgrade Apache Tomcat to Version 9.0.120:

1. Download and Extract Solution:

   • Download the patch solution file 99112810.tar.Z.

   • Uncompress and extract the solution package into your staging directory.

2. Execute Tomcat Upgrade Procedure:
