Precheck Error Regarding vCenter Server Memory Usage in SDDC Manager

Issue/Introduction

When running prechecks in SDDC Manager within a VMware Cloud Foundation environment, warning messages such as vCenter memory exhaustion check failed or Please verify that vCenter has enough memory for the upgrade may be reported. This warning can occur even when the actual memory utilization of the vCenter Server is within normal levels.

Cause

Depending on the evaluation timing or calculation logic used during the SDDC Manager precheck process, a warning may be triggered even if actual memory consumption is sufficient and healthy.

Resolution

If the actual memory usage of the vCenter Server is low and there are no signs of resource exhaustion, this precheck warning can be safely acknowledged or ignored in SDDC Manager to proceed with the upgrade operation.
