Issue/Introduction

• Deleting patch binaries from VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager (LCM) fails.
• The following error appears in the UI: LCMPATCHDELETE16011: Failed to delete patch. Please check logs for more detail.
• The /var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrlcm.log file contains an entry similar to: Caused by: javax.persistence.EntityNotFoundException: Unable to find com.vmware.vrealize.lcm.contentrepo.model.Content with id ##########################################

Environment

Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.x

Cause

It was identified that the patch ID field is currently recorded as 'null' within the database. This has resulted in a data inconsistency within the Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager environment, leaving behind an incomplete entry for the downloaded patch

Resolution

This requires a database modification. Contact Broadcom Support and reference Article ID 449499 in the problem description.
