License Entitled quantity for VMware vDefend shown on Avi Cloud Console differs from purchased contract quantity on Broadcom Support Portal

Issue/Introduction

The number of cores of a VMware vDefend Firewall license is shown as three times of the actual value. For example, a license with 100 cores is shown as 300 cores.

Cause

AVI Cloud Console uses an incorrect formula to calculate entitled quantity.

Resolution

This issue will be fixed in AVI Cloud Console in the future. No customer action is required.
