Issue/Introduction

When accessing the Monitor interface in WCC 24.2, an option for Alerts is visible alongside Jobs and Flow. However, selecting or attempting to interact with Alerts displays an "Under Development" message, and the feature is not functional or accessible.

Environment

  • Product: AutoSys Workload Automation / Workload Control Center (WCC)

  • Releases Involved: WCC 24.1.x, WCC 24.2.x

  • Component: Web UI / WCC Monitor Interface

Cause

It was initially planned to include Alert management in the new WCC Monitor interface, but this feature decision was reversed. The Alert Policies feature in the new Monitor UI was officially deprecated in release 24.1.

  • A fresh installation of WCC 24.2 will not display the Alerts option.

  • In environments upgraded from an earlier version, stale client-side browser cache can cause the deprecated "Alerts" option to remain visible in the UI.

Resolution

  • Expected Behavior:

    • When navigating to Monitor in WCC 24.2, only Jobs and Flow views should be listed.

    • Alerts should not appear in the new Monitor interface.

  • Accessing Alerts:

    • Workload Automation operators should continue using the Old / Classic Monitoring interface to view and interact with Alerts.

  • Remediation for Upgraded Environments:

    • If WCC was upgraded from a previous version and the "Alerts" option is still displayed, clear your browser cache completely and reload the WCC web application.
