CDD: Restricting or Blocking Specific Applications from Release Participation

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to block or restrict the deployment of a specific Applications through the CDD platform ?
The requirement is to prevent certain applications to create releases in CDD

Environment

Product: Continuous Delivery Director (CDD)

Version: All supported versions (On-Prem and SaaS)

Resolution

The permission that allows for the creation of an application is "Can Manage Application."
Is it possible to remove this permission from the user account.

But it is not possible to remove this permissions for a specific application. This permission is for all applications.

In the Role we could remove the permissions :

Can manage business application
Can manage business application versions

Can manage application
Can manage application versions

 

 

Can manage application: Allows the creation and updating of application.
Can manage application version: Allows the creation and updating of application versions.
Can manage business application: Allows the creation, deletion, and update of Business applications.
Can manage business application versions: Allows the creation and update of Business application versions.
