Imported certificates and passwords missing under VCF Instances

VCF Operations

Issue/Introduction

  • Fleet Management > Certificates/Passwords displaying 0 certificates/passwords
  • Certificates in Fleet Management in a region are all gone
  • Certificates still active/imported

Environment

VCF Ops: 9.1, 9.1.0.0400

Cause

  • Duplicate Root certificate found in certificate trust store

Resolution

  1. Log into VCF Operations.
  2. Go to Administration > Control Panel > Trusted Certificates
  3. Identify and remove any stale/duplicate Root certificate entries.
  4. SSH into primary node of VCF Operations cluster as root
  5. Restart the VCF Operations services to re-initialize the Infrastructure Management Adapter:

systemctl restart vmware-vcops
