Inventory Sync on Aria Operations for Logs Fails with Error Code: LCMVCF19113 in a VCF-Aware Environment

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to initiate an inventory sync on VMware Aria Operations for Logs, the sync operation fails and displays the following error:

Error Code: LCMVCF19113
Error while preparing SDDC Manager payload for product registration. Check logs at /var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrlcm.log and try again.
Error occurred when getting the full version of 'vrli'

Environment

VMware Aria operations for logs 8.x

Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.x

Cause

This issue occurs because the Datacenter has not been validated, and the vCenterValidation flag was explicitly set to false while running the inventory sync.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must trigger the inventory sync again, ensuring that the vCenterValidation parameter is enabled.

Steps:

1. Re-trigger the inventory sync process by navigating to Aria suite lifecycle manager UI->Lifecycle operations -> Environments -> Aria operations for logs->Trigger inventory sync
2. Set the vCenterValidation flag to true.
3. Provide the vCenter FQDN, username and the password and submit.
