Issue/Introduction

When applying PTF LU17806, is a recycle of CA 7 or an IPL required to implement/activate the fix?

Environment

CA 7 r12.1

Resolution

A system IPL is not required to activate PTF LU17806. Follow these steps to activate the maintenance:

1. Apply PTF LU17806 using SMP/E.
2. Stop the CA 7 started task (CA7ONL).
3. Perform an LLA refresh if the CAL2LOAD library is in the system linklist using the following command: F LLA,REFRESH
4. Restart the CA 7 started task (CA7ONL).
