Issue/Introduction

Issue:

I need to change the parameter, BARRIER, in our production environment to avoid the message
JOB SSM0-04 JOBA (1076) NOT SUBMITTED TO UCC7IRDR - SUBMIT BARRIER REACHED

Environment

Release:
Component: 7

Cause

Jobs stop submitting after BARRIER reached.

Resolution

You can temporarily change the barrier with /ASSIGN,CPU=ddname,BARR=nnnn. The CPU ddname value is ddname for the data set that is defined on the initialization file CPU statement and nnnn is a number up to 9999. For a permanent change, you will need to change the CPU statement keyword BARRIER= and bounce CA 7.
