Symptoms:
When logging into VCF Operations from a new computer or browser (e.g., Computer A), the active session for the same account on another computer (e.g., Computer B) is automatically logged off.
There is another active session for this user. This may be because of concurrent logins or because of a session that has not expired. To close the other session and continue, click OK.
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Operations
This is expected behavior controlled by a system-wide configuration flag. By default, VCF Operations may restrict multiple concurrent sessions for the same user account.
A specific Global Setting dictates whether concurrent UI login sessions are allowed or restricted.
You can remove this restriction by modifying the system's Global Settings to allow concurrent logins for the same account.
Please follow the steps below in VCF Operations:
Log in to the system: Use the admin account or an account with system administrator privileges to log in to the VCF Operations UI.
Navigate to Global Settings: In the left navigation pane, click or expand Administration, and then click Global Settings.
Find the target setting: In the Global Settings list, scroll down or use the search function to locate the item named Concurrent UI login sessions.
Enable the setting: Click to edit the setting and change its status to Activated.
Save: Click Save to apply the changes.
