Issue/Introduction

• VMware identity manager failed inventory sync.
  
  
• Unresponsive the the HTTPS UI.

• All three pool nodes up from SSH

• 0 on replication_delays.

• Opensearch health check shows 8 unassigned shared that don't appear to be going away.

Environment

Aria Automation Identity Manager 3.3.7

Cause

After upgrading to vIDM 3.3.7, user dashboard reporting and Active Directory sync log are not updating: the cluster currently has the maximum number of shards open.

Resolution

• Restore VIDM appliances from vSphere Replicated copies.
  
  
• Increase the OpenSearch max shards count to 6500. A subsequent raise to 8200 may be necessary.
